Our schools are the foundation on which everything else is built. Our children are our most important resource. Wisconsin cannot, and should not, fund two separate school systems. The voucher system is destroying our public schools. Currently in this state we pay to support our public schools, then pay more to fund voucher schools, then pay again when our local school districts are forced to go to referendums because the state has cut school funding by hundreds of millions. We need to fully fund and support our public schools. The Manufacturing and Agriculture tax credit must be repealed and that money used for our schools.
